THE RULES:
--------------------------------------------------------------
BRIDES/GROOMS & SUPPLIERS:
--------------------------------------------------------------
We reserve the right to remove any post in which we deem to be inappropriate for any particular reason. If you do not agree with this, or any of the terms below, you are welcome to leave the group.
If we believe there is a coordinated effort to spam advertise businesses within the group, offending post will be removed at our discretion, offenders may be warned and/or removed at our discretion no questions asked. We believe in fair play for all members and DO NOT condone pack mentality bullying tactics.
Anyone being disrespectful or rude towards fellow members or the administration team will be removed without warning.
--------------------------------------------------------------
1 ) ADVERTISING & SPECIALS: Strictly NO ADVERTISING directly on the page and definitely NO inboxing members.
Advertising is only permitted on call out post where the bride/groom has specifically mentioned available suppliers can comment.
--------------------------------------------------------------
SUPPLIERS:
--------------------------------------------------------------
2 ) You may offer your services only on call out post AND ONLY if they have requested for your service category. Keep it short and simple and do not disclose prices until contacted.
-------------------------------
If they have only asked a question, that does not give you permission to advertise.
-------------------------------
If they have asked for available suppliers to comment, that is not a post for you to name drop your buddies.
-------------------------------
3 ) Upon requested to do so, advertise the work that you provide along with a means for them to contact you – not your price, your discounts or “special offers”.
-------------------------------
4 ) Suppliers are NOT to private message members, or offer to privately message the client. If they like your work they will contact you.
-------------------------------
5 ) Suppliers are not to dig up old post to advertise, multiple offences will be an instant removal from the group.
-------------------------------
6) Please refrain from spam advertising yours/your mate's businesses in the group. That is not cool, and everyone can see what you're doing. Any comments deemed 'spamming' may be removed without warning.
7) The group endorses equality and inclusiveness. If your values do not align with this, you have the right to NOT join the group, as we have the right to not welcome you into the group.

BRIDES/GROOMS:
--------------------------------------------------------------
6 ) WHEN ASKING FOR SUPPLIERS/RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Please state 'DATE' and ‘LOCATION’. That will help save time from enquiring with suppliers who may not be available.
- Please state whether you would like:
A ) “Comments only from available suppliers”
B ) “Recommendations only from past brides/grooms”
C ) “Recommendations in general”
- Do not use phrases such as “cheap”, “doesn’t cost an arm or a leg”, “affordable” or anything along that line.
- If you’re working within a budget you can state it as you wish, within reason - no one likes to see suppliers being asked to work for below minimum wage!!
-------------------------------
7 ) Please do not ask for or discuss pricing. If you're interested in the supplier's work, please contact them in order to get an accurate quote for your wedding day.
-------------------------------
8 ) COMPLAINTS: There will be NO naming and shaming within the group. It's not fair on the supplier if the group is only heard of one side of the story. If you have an issue with a business you can, firstly, speak to the business themselves. You can contact consumer affairs if all else fails. You may also leave them a review when you search up their business on Google - it is more permanent and wide reaching than posting within the group.
-------------------------------
9 ) Blocking the administrator and moderators will get you removed from the group.
-------------------------------
10 ) Adelaide Weddings Chit Chat is the sole page and is not associated with any other groups or pages. Please do not advertise other pages or groups without administrator approval.
-------------------------------

-------------------------------
13 ) NO ADVERTISING OF PYRAMID SCHEMES OR MLM TYPE BUSINESSES ALLOWED
-------------------------------
14 ) NO ADVERTISING OF OTHER WEDDING GROUPS OR PAGES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL
-------------------------------
15) NO asking for non-professional suppliers, e.g. amateurs and students. We do not condone utilising suppliers who do not offer a professional level of service (Professional grade equipment, insurance and back up network).
--------------------------------------------------------------
To check out whether your wedding supplier is a legitimate business or not, here are a couple tools to help:
Do they have an ABN? (Search personal name or business name)
https://abr.business.gov.au/
Is their business name registered?
https://www.tradingas.com.au/
You can also request a the 'cover letter' of their public liability insurance, which they should provide as many venues also do require suppliers to have it.
